Honey Bee Network, Ahmedabad, India

Knowledge sharing networks within affinity groups (physicists, open source coders) seem to be more common and even more stable than ones that bridge different professions and education levels. In Ahmedabad, India, Pr. Anil Gupta founded the Honey Bee Network in 1990. Its newletter is the main way innovators share grass roots agricultural information. You can read pdf files of the original typewritten newsletter from fifteen years ago. They also have a discussion board and innovations database, but maintaining low tech ways to disseminate knowledge is what interests me more than the web site.
